Animal-Assisted Therapy Dog

about me

I began my life running through the paddocks on a farm in Gisborne. Luckily for me, I was born as a Labradoodle – the most wonderful of breeds! Since moving down to Christchurch, I’ve been hard at work training to be a therapy dog. Currently, I am training to get my ‘Canine Good Citizen Certificate’, which is recognised by Dogs NZ. This training will take me around two years to complete!

I love helping people feel calm when they are anxious and have the most gorgeous expressions (everyone says so!). I am able to come along to individual therapy sessions to help people feel supported and loved while they are processing their experiences, and at the very least, I can be a lovely distraction!

In my spare time I like to explore every part of nature that I can find, have cuddles with people, find ways to get out of our property, and snuggle soft toys.
